Are You Ready to Write Your Own Megillah?

Attention, Jewish children’s book writers

Jewish Book Month starts on Wednesday and so does our Write Your Own Megillah event. This is the time to commit yourself to writing that middle grade or YA novel you’ve been thinking about. And there’s a prize: The first middle grade (18,000 words) and the first YA (36,000 words) submission whose word counts I verify receive a three-chapter critique by Egmont USA executive editor Regina Griffin. Not even NaNoWriMo offers that!
