Mid-Week Notes

Three quick things:

  1. Editorial work has begun on my middle-grade novel-in-verse, 37 Days, about the voyage of the doomed MS St. Louis in 1939. The publisher is Kar-Ben. So far, so good!
  2. In teaching freshman composition, I’m reminded of Anne Lamott’s stance on first drafts. To diplomatically paraphrase, we need to allow ourselves the freedom to write badly.
  3. If you haven’t seen Sunday’s announcement about Writing Chai, click here. There’s still time to sign up. Contact me at barbarakrasner(at)att(dot)net if interested.

Happy writing!
