Mid-Week Notes

Three quick things:

  1. Several writing instructors are now offering free online writing sessions to help us all deal with these trying times of the coronavirus. Check your local area for these, especially those affiliated with the Amherst Writers & Artists method.
  2. I had already canceled my study trip to France, Spain, and Portugal, but was working on a personal trip to western Ukraine, once eastern Galicia, and my grandmother Zuckerkandel’s home. This trip would have been the culmination of my research for a genealogical memoir. I suspect that will now have to wait until Summer 2021.
  3. I cannot help but be reminded of my great-aunt’s death in Russia during the 1918 flu pandemic. I feel a poem brewing. This might be a good time to check out online writing classes!

Take care of yourselves!
