Mid-Week Notes

Three quick things:

  1. I’ve been listening to some free Highlights Foundation craft sessions. I found the one with award-winning poet and picture book author Lesléa Newman particularly inspiring. Check them out.
  2. I decided this week to be kinder to myself. I’m not taking two courses in my PhD program this Summer A semester and will only devote myself to the study of memory in Holocaust and genocide in guided research with one of my favorite professors. Then, in the summer, I’ll finish my coursework with Jewish Folklore in Gratz’s Jewish Studies department. I’m hoping that course both brings me closer to Yiddish culture and inspires some creative writing.
  3. If any of you are reading craft books or listening to podcasts or other events, please share below what’s working for you!

Be well. Stay well. Be safe indoors.
