Three quick things this week:
- Following the “rules” set out by Susan Shapiro in The Byline Bible, I sent out a query first to a well-respected outlet over a week ago. So far, nothing. Shapiro recommends only sending out to one place at a time. Oy.
- I am still working on my academic book chapter, the fourth revision over a two-year-period. I understand this is normal for “emerging” scholars.
- I am also still researching my grandfather’s matchmaker’s postcard. Can’t identify the recipient even by checking census records and city directories. And I found two Max Krasners living at the same address in Newark at the same time, one referred to as “Max Krasner Jr.” I remain perplexed.
Be safe and take care. Happy Thanksgiving!
