Mid-Week Field Notes

Three quick things this week:

  1. My writing goals for 2021 include working on two new book-length projects, one adult hybrid of found poetry and prose and one YA historical novel in verse. To fuel inspiration, I’m going to read, read, read prose and poetry from indie literary presses. I’ve explored CavanKerry Press and Dos Madros Press. I also want to explore Black Lawrence Press, She Writes Press, Anaphora Literary Press, and Ren Hen Press.
  2. I have resubmitted a revision of my bio in verse. We’ll see what happens.
  3. I’ve compiled a list of possible homes for two short creative nonfiction pieces about my paternal grandparents. Now to submit!

Best wishes for a safe, healthy, and productive 2021!
