Mid-Week Field Notes | April 21, 2021

Three quick things this week:

  • I am still slogging through revisions of my bio in verse to meet my editor’s date. I have a bunch of new poems to write and hope I can find some poetic form to serve the content well. I wish I could be on retreat to work on this. Oh, well.
  • Tonight I’m participating in a “book birthday launch” with the Vermont College of Fine Arts for my middle-grade novel in verse, 37 Days at Sea: Aboard the MS St. Louis, 1939
  • Last chance reminder: April 22, at 6 pm ET to commemorate the Armenian Genocide: The Mercer Holocaust, Genocide & Human Rights Center is hosting a conversation with Dr. Paul Boghossian of New York University, who was interviewed for the film, Intent to Destroy.
