Mid-Week Field Notes | June 2, 2021

Some quick things:

  1. Still sloughing away at revisions on my Ethel Rosenberg bio in verse.
  2. This week I’m back at translating from Yiddish a 1947 journal article about the destruction of eastern Galician Jewry. I should have it completed by the end of the month.
  3. Slowly I make progress on my genealogical memoir. The more questions I pose to my sisters and cousins, the more I learn. Multiple perspectives is a good thing. I can’t complete the memoir until I’m able to travel to western Ukraine.
  4. How does (or did) travel inform your writing?
