Mid-Week Field Notes | June 30, 2021

Some quick things:

  1. I Had dinner with my fabulous editor and we’ve come up with a new idea for my next project. It will take a bit of research, but it’s about a topic I’ve actually been interested in for more than a decade. And it’s local to New Jersey. It has Nazis, Jewish mobsters, the FBI, just to name a few.
  2. This also means I’ll be putting my current novel in verse WIP on the back burner.
  3. I hope to spend the holiday weekend diving back into my dissertation.
  4. I’m presenting on Monday at the Memory Studies Association about “Storyscape: The Positive Disruption Caused by the Collision of Historical and Narrative Truths in Yizkor Books.”
