Mid-Week Field Notes–February 16, 2022

Field Notes

Some very quick things:

  1. If you’re a teacher who has brought Art Spiegelman’s Maus into the classroom, you won’t want to miss a special free webinar hosted by Gratz College, Tuesday, February 22, 7 pm ET.
  2. This week I start writing poetry with a group I haven’t been able to write with for several years: The Mature Poets, hosted by Maria Mazziotti Gillan. We are meeting through Zoom.
  3. This week I also start participation in a documentary poetry course through Murphy Writing. I think I can use it as a way to bring FBI file information into my work in progress.
  4. ICYMI: I’ve published an interview in the February issue of Sepia Chronicles | Writing the Past with award-winning author Steve Sheinkin about his Cold War aftermath book, Fallout. Sign up for your free subscription by sending an email to barbaradkrasner(at)gmail(dot)com.
