Mid-Week Field Notes–March 9, 2022

Field Notes

Some very quick things:

  1. Rejections of poetry and flash nonfiction have come in from two literary magazines I highly respect and yearn to have my work in. I’ll have to try again with different material. I am committing to sending out something each week.
  2. I’ve been participating in Vermont College of Fine Arts alumni “Writer2Writer” feedback for creative nonfiction. We submit monthly “packets” to each other. Now I have three essays to revise based on alum feedback for March.
  3. Last Call: Join guest speakers Dr. Victoria Khiterer (Millersville University) and Dr. Steven Turner (Gesher Galicia) for a discussion on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, March 9, 1-2 pm ET.
