Mid-Week Field Notes–October 19, 2022

Field Notes

Some very quick things:

  • Tonight I’ll be giving a reading from Ethel’s Song: Ethel Rosenberg’s Life in Poems at the Vermont College of Fine Arts Writing for Children & Young Adults Book Birthday celebration. Zoom in for free! Register here.
  • Exciting news! I’ve been accepted into the Tupelo 30/30 program for November 2022. That means I’ll be generating 30 poems in 30 days! Stay tuned.
  • Had a plot breakthrough in an AWA writing session Monday night for a new historical novel in verse that takes place in 1951 America. I love what writing to prompts can do!
  • Interested in writing family history and/or memoir? Sign up for my free Writing the Past newsletter published on the first day of each month.

Happy writing!

  1. Arlene Schenker says:

Ethel’s Song is featured and reviewed in the Nov/Dec issue of Hadassah Magazine–pages 55-56. So happy to see it there!
